Altran is looking for a Project Manager to join the team in Middle East.
As an IPTV Delivery Manager with Altran, you will be fundamental to our ability to deliver to our customers and clients. Our customer expectations are high, as such we are looking for adaptive driven people to deliver on time to required quality.
You will possess creative problem-solving skills in a team environment and comfortable with communicating clearly and efficiently throughout varying levels of both the customer and Altran businesses. Due to the nature of the assignments undertaken by Altran you will work in an environment that promotes autonomy and initiative, requiring a flexible attitude. Support Head of TV providing him with visibility on technological trends and collaborating on the client tv strategy creation
Collaborate with Product Manager on understanding technical constrains/limitations, alternatives for business requirements
Support Product Manager translating business requirements into actionable elements by Technology
Support Product Manager during the assessment/development/testing/deployment cycle organising/managing internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate all stakeholders and support Product Manager towards making sure OTV roadmap is implemented as per agreed priorities
Supervise and coordinate stakeholders for ensuring TV service excellence including but not limited to outstanding content quality, 24/7 availability of the service (including Censorship, offline and live content, Electronic Program Guide…), web site accuracy, supporting documentation, etc.
Collaborate with Technology to define the technological roadmap to better support TV products and services in the mid/long term
Follow and analyze market trends and how those will impact TV
Be familiar with TV business models, international and regional markets and trends
Understand Client’s fixed services portfolio as well as the principals of a TV business, including the roles of Product, Content, Technology and the fit of the tv business into the overall client offer
Be familiar with business case elaboration and concepts as Capital Expenditure, Operational Expenditure as well as their implication on TV P&L
Analyse TV internal processes and benchmark them against internal and external references to assess and propose improvements
Analyse market trends to identify points of further improvement in client’s tv services and operational process
Understand business needs and translate those into specific requirements for Technology and other stakeholders with the goal of launching new products/services
Planning & Organising
Preparation of all tender documents and set out easy process of tendering, evaluations and approval of management. Ensuring that the right Internal Requests and Purchase Orders are raised for all products and following up till delivery
Set and review project plans with Technology and other stakeholders
Set and manage periodical project review meetings
Prepare and deliver timely periodical reporting to Head of TV and client’s management
Ensure the best quality of all products to meet customers’ expectations and satisfaction
Assuring best after sales services to client’s customers with all concerned and propose palliative measures if needed
Analyse issues/risks, propose, socialise/reach consensus and implement action plans for mitigating/removing them
Supervise and secure smooth operation of client’s tv services content and EPG ingestion and Censorship activities
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Technology/Marketing (or on a Technology related role in any other area)
Minimum of 5 years on a similar role
Excellent knowledge of Telco, and specifically IPTV/OTT Technology ecosystem
Excellent digital media/IPTV product knowledge
Excellent project management skills
Good knowledge on process of tendering and negotiation skills
Good knowledge on telecommunication products and services
Good knowledge on media service provider operational activities
