| About the team In Careem’s mission to become the region’s everyday SuperApp we will be the launchpad to nurture and support local businesses to scale. We will look for opportunities to grow Careem beyond the core business lines and in everything we do we will find solutions that transform the communities we operate in. What you’ll do? As a pivotal role for the incubator team your responsibilities will include: Create social media calendar, responsible for all social media activities Take photographs of workshops & events and edit them for social media use Support with admin tasks such as sending out digital assets pre and post workshops to startups, mentors and trainers. Digital and Physical Community engagement, driving continued engagement Support with logistics and hosting info sessions and road shows Create inventory collateral for stationary and electronics and manage the supply Manage all reprographics e.g. from sending digital assets to printers to collection of physical assets Manage all AV logistics – including cross-check and edit presentations Support with arranging workshop room set-ups Source and manage interns for bootcamps and demo days Coordinate the collection of feedback forms, invites and data collection for impact reports and look-books Work on presentation decks and coordinate data collection from stakeholders What you’ll need? You will own a strong entrepreneurial spirit and motivation to work within the startup ecosystem You will have previously honed skills in community building and social media engagement You will possess strong project coordination skills. You’ll thrive on ownership, and push yourself to be the best you can be You’ll be a strong communicator capable of building rewarding relationships across Careem and the wider community You’ll have a good understanding and competence across IT programs and design (PowerPoint, photoshop, ID design) Where you’ll be? Even though we are working remotely, we are strong believers in collaboration and the power of building social connections with our teams. For that reason, our offices are still open and provide plenty of collaboration-friendly spaces at times when teams need it or if you need a quiet space to work outside of home. You’ll be working in the location you’re hired from. Due to legal and compensation considerations, you will need to be based out of the country you’re hired from as your primary work location. |
