Job Purpose – Primary responsibility of the role is to coordinate the resources and team in the housekeeping department and assist the Executive Housekeeper in the administrative duties of the team. Key Accountabilities – Maintain complete knowledge of: hotel and housekeeping offerings for the guest. Access all functions of computer software in accordance with departmental specifications. Set up the department office with necessary supplies, maintain cleanliness throughout shift. Legibly complete requisition for additional supplies/materials and submit to Executive Housekeeper. Maintain updated resource materials on all vendors and information to accommodate guest inquiries. Review designated in-house guest list and be familiar with guests’ names and room locations. Print designated reports and distribute accordingly. Manage the duty allocations of the team members after laisioning with the housekeeping supervisors and the hotel occupancy. Update room status report in accordance with departmental procedures. Monitor and track status of out of order rooms; update accordingly. Communicate departmental and guest needs as they arise with respective Housekeeping personnel. Maintain security and accurate record of all guest room keys issued to Housekeeping staff Keep a record of the mandatory training certifications required for the team and schedule the team for recertification. Accommodate all guest requests expediently and courteously. Follow up with designated hotel personnel to ensure completion of request. Schedule the Inventory and management of stock control Knowledge, Skills & Experience Education Minimum Diploma in any discipline. Job Experience 1-2 years’ experience in Housekeeping as a coordinator in a hotel /resort. Others Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Speak, Read and Write English. Team player and accustomed to pressure situations. |
