Amazon seeks a dynamic and driven Finance Analyst to join the team in Dubai. The individual will work closely with the Retail team to develop tools and processes that will help drive growth and profitability. The key responsibility of this role is to assist the business in making strategic decisions through data analysis and business insight. In addition, this position partners with various functions to report financial metrics, analyze trends and develop annual plans/forecasts to support business decisions. Key job responsibilities The key responsibilities of the Finance Analyst include: • Performing financial reporting; support monthly/quarterly P&L analysis vs. forecast in close co-ordination with business and accounting teams • Ongoing controllership and mechanisms to ensure internal controls are in place and appropriate financial processes are operating as intended • Perform ad-hoc business analyses, and financial modeling • Facilitate the business reviews with data analysis and follow through with business leaders on actionable items for improving business metrics • Measuring and monitoring of metrics for new business initiatives • Work on strategic initiatives and special projects that serve major parts of the business The position represents an exciting opportunity to be a part of an extremely dynamic and high paced environment, supporting a global organization and offers significant opportunities for rapid growth.
