About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Corporate Banking Analyst – the role will support the FIG coverage Managing Director and RMs in day to day RM activity in the Middle East Turkey and Africa (META) region. The role may also include managing for smaller account relationships directly. Main activity includes providing assistance to senior bankers in preparation of memos, presentations, proposals, compliance related work, annual reviews, pipeline planning etc. This role also requires to play an active role in client interaction, business development and transaction origination & execution. (Note: In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required) The role will directly report to the Head of RM coverage in Dubai Branch. In this role, you will: Business Development Support and contribute in business development and execution of client relationship plans by identifying/closing of opportunities through proactive research, financial information and regular dialogue with clients. Proactive support in achieving overall business objectives set by CIB line management; Active involvement in assisting with origination of new businesses with a priority on executing transactions in cooperation with product partners and coverage bankers. Work closely with the RM coverage team on development and execution of client relationship plans by identifying key opportunities through proactive research, data analysis, and regular follow-up with clients. Assist in client calling effort; prepare briefing memos, proposals, call preparation information packs, call reports and write-ups post meeting using appropriate relationship management tools such as Salesforce. Provide operational support to RMs on: tracking accuracy of revenue reporting, liaising with product partners in closing of transactions. Risk Management A key responsibility covers supporting the MD / D on Financial Crime & Credit Risk Management. Some key activities under this role include: Help in drafting of Relationship Memos in a timely manner. Obtaining relevant KYC information from clients for onboarding, reviews & updates. Helping in drafting of RM comments for annual credit reviews. Support in account / pipeline planning. Review transactional activity and responding to transactional / AVA alerts. Customer Service The point of escalation of CSU matter when issues have not been resolved by CSU desk. Client servicing is an important part of client management and taking ownership of escalated issues is important for business developments. Close partnership with CSU desk and customer is critical for the business. Miscellaneous Activities assigned by Line Management from time to time including but not limited to client events and leadership responsibilities on projects. Required Qualifications, International: Experience in Corporate Banking Relationship Management, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Relationship Management experience Strong analytical and accounting skills, ability to analyze financial statements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to write clear, concise summary of analytical findings and conclusions Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment Focus on attention to detail and accuracy Demonstrated knowledge of transactional banking, AML/Compliance, Credit and Capital Markets products and services.
