You will support the achievement of SITA’s business strategy the 3-year business plan and SRM objectives by prioritising managing and implementing regional marketing plans worldwide that aggressively drive and support the achievement of the revenue and growth objectives associated with all sales regions.
Develop an overall Regional Marketing Strategy and vision in order to provide consistency and alignment of projects and strategic initiatives;
Manage the integration of marketing plans across the regions the business unit and corporate marketing to ensure proper coordination and execution of regional marketing initiatives;
Provide strong marketing leadership and drive the planning and execution of all regional marketing plans. This includes advertising PR events branding customer seminars direct marketing campaigns web-based activities collateral production and internal communication marketing intelligence and planning;
Lead and manage all marketing activities in the regions and ensure effective deployment of regional marketing resources and budget to support the achievement of commercial targets as defined by corporate objectives;
Define track and measure a contact strategy for our top customers (200) to improve the quality of our contacts and to refine our communications strategy (online/offline) by ensuring our global and regional marketing activities target the right person at the right time with the right message;
Approve hiring local PR agencies to ensure Corporate/Regional messages are effectively distributed around the world;
D rive the implementation and manage the effectiveness of global and local marketing programmes and take any actions as necessary to support the growth required;
Define track and measure the impact of regional activities on sales results drive achievement of key performance metrics which will ensure visibility of tangible value to sales & relationship management;
Work with regional sales teams to evaluate customer needs gather marketing intelligence which can be translated by the BU’s into tangible solutions and product features to develop new integrated solutions expected by the customers;
Validate the regional analysis of customers of the main competitors operating in the region (eg product range price strategy sales and marketing infrastructure financial alliances and position strengths and weaknesses) with the aim of proposing account protection plans;
Lead the implementation and support of a Crisis Management policy/process in the Geo.
12-15 years of marketing communications internal communications or PR experience preferably in telecommunications IT air transport or travel industries
Solid experience in Project Management
Strong in analysing complex situations and providing sound recommendations
Solid experience in managing customer-facing events and meetings
Experience of managing virtual teams and cultural diversity
Experience with latest PC tools including web technologies
Knowledge & Skills
Strong customer service skills and service orientation
Understand and manage properly cultural diversity in team
Works effectively in and across complex organisations and is at ease managing and effectively operating within a matrix organisation
Uses business processes to her/his advantage to obtain results
Able to deploy and unify resources from different organisation to achieve targets
Education & Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business or Marketing
MBA &/or Master in Marketing from a reputable/recognized University is a must
Marketing Generalist Regions
