Job Purpose Research and identify opportunities in the European market with potential growth and manage the relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders. Develop sales strategies and manage a wide variety of projects. Actively steer and monitor the results and achievements of the European countries. Job Accountabilities Design, organize and review regional sales plans at point-of-sales level to identify business opportunities, steer processes and engage in customer interaction Research, manage and analyse business opportunities that contribute to a better optimized product and O&D mix and develop a sales plan in conjunction with the cargo manager to actively steer cargo and business behaviour Identify and conduct financial evaluation of potentially a new GSSA setup in a new or existing market which includes, but not limited to, contract design, commission negotiations, setup of KPIs and activating key stakeholders to ensure a smooth implementation Collaborate, challenge and support key departments at headquarters such as capacity management, pricing, global sales and freighter management in RFQ reviews, strategic and tactical campaigns, new process roll-outs Interact and drive customers, suppliers, trade delegations to develop new initiatives and measure rate of success to generate additional value in the network Act as a change agent to facilitate behavioural changes needed for new business processes and system rollouts such as Salesforce, PowerBI and online booking platforms to improve station efficiency and sales effectiveness Guide the European team in to the direction set out by headquarters and support cargo and sales managers in the region with their local challenges to create a cohesive European team and promote a transparent and open-minded work culture Qualifications & Experience Experience Logistics/Cargo 5+ Years Qualification Bachelor degree or higher Knowledge/Skills Degree in Business Management Experience in the airline cargo industry Organized and entrepreneurship Strong cross cultural skills Verbally strong Must have business acumen to chart new territories and create business opportunities Sociable and approachable Analytical and result driven behaviour Leadership Role: Yes Safety Sensitive Role: No |
