Job Description:
Bellman is responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests. Promptly assisting all guests with their luggage requests as well as providing miscellaneous information about hotel services and Dubai. Always stays attentive on duty and reports to the management emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing items, damage.
 
Key responsibilities:
Present at the Concierge/Reception desk or in the lobby and ready to assist guests, colleagues and visitors when requested
Ensure collection and delivery of guest luggage and group luggage in an efficient and timely manner
Tag baggage and return the identification slips to guests
Assist guests with luggage at the front desk
Escort guests to room, placing the luggage in the room assigned by the front desk team
Deliver messages, packages to the guests’ rooms
Provide items on loan to guest and collect the items back from guest before departure
Ensure safe storage and collect ticketing of guest coats and personal items
Assist guests with long term luggage storage requests / left luggage requests
Transport departing guest’s luggage from the room to the lobby, then into a car or taxi after reconfirming with the guest
Respond to the guest requests and queries providing knowledgeable, efficient and helpful information service

Desired Skill & Expertise
At least 1 year experience in a 4/5 star Hotel/Resort
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
Required language(s): fluent English, native Arabic, Russian and French preferred
Team player with excellent planning and organizing skills
Able to work flexible working hours with rotating shifts
Pleasant personality with good problem-solving skills
